This is the Home Owners Dream come true, to finally have a base in Sweden with this cabin with a touch of Africa and Swedish mix in the decor will truely welcome you with a relaxed atmosphere. The home owner is orginally from the South of Sweden but has been based in Malawi Africa for over 20 years on a tea and coffee farm. If you are lucky there will be some tea left behind for you to try. The farm is run by her husbands family and its been in the family since 1923. They have 3 children and they all love to come to Sweden where they have a base to ski.

THE CABIN

• 2 bedrooms: Two with double beds, An extra mattress is available.

• Spacious bathroom with toilet, shower, sink, and washing machine.

• Large entrance and hallway.

• The main living area offers breathtaking views of Ottfjället, Ottsjön, and the surrounding forest. The open-plan kitchen and living room comfortably accommodate 6 people at the dining table. Relax on the sofa and armchairs in front of the TV with the large window

THE SURROUNDINGS

You can easily walk to ICA Ottsjö (5 minutes) to buy groceries or pick up any essentials you may have forgotten, such as boots or gloves. During summer, you can take a refreshing swim in Ottsjön, or enjoy ice fishing in the winter – just an 5-minute walk away. The Ottsjö mountain trails are easily accessible by foot or car.

At ICA Ottsjö, you can also get information about local activities, rent a boat, or purchase fishing permits and trail maps. Cross-country ski passes are available online.

The ski slopes in Trillevallen are only a 13-minute drive away.
