December is a beautiful month!

December is always a magical month, the snow falls like glitter, and the temperatures can go down to minus 30, where we can get cold to our bones, but this is not very often and we have the priviledge that every cabin at Mountain Holiday Homes has a sauna which will warm you up after a cold day out. Good clothing is always a must at this time of year, as the saying goes “There is no such things as bad weather only bad clothing!” It sounds so much better in Swedish!

After our winter activitiy day out, and upon returning to our cabin there is nothing like that warmth feeling of jumping into a boiling sauna, taking a great shower, lighting the fire in the cabin, cooking great food, and then settling down for the evening with family. Enjoying our long winter evenings creating sweet memories and playing board games around the fire place.

December is a time where the shops are stocked full of delicious food, and restaurants menus are lavished with great creations. So we can really fill ourselves up with good food and drink good wine that will make your mouth explode with flavours.

We are looking forward to warmly welcoming you to our beautiful quaint activity village.
